Was this reply helpful? Yes. No. Lately, Ctrl+C is not copying from MS Teams (All other applications are accepting Ctrl+C Command). Ctrl+X and Ctrl+V are working fine.
Open Terminal → Preferences → Shortcuts and search if by mistake you have replaced any key with Ctrl + C. If you are using ubuntu 10.04 you wanna enable this key to work. Select the Layouts tab and click on the Layout Options. Select Key sequence to kill the X server and enable Control + Alt + Backspace.
Ctrl+Shift+V command isn't working in my Word 2016 installation on a Windows 10 machine -- nothing happens when I use it. Ctr+V still works fine, but I'd really like to be able to use Ctrl+Shift+V to be able to past text without formatting, without having to use the ribbon button. Close all Office programs. Click on the Start button, then on Settings, then on Apps. Select Microsoft 365/Microsoft Office, then click on the Modify button. Choose Online Repair, then click on the Repair button. Allow the process to complete, restart your computer, then check whether the paste keyboard shortcuts have been restored. 10. This is because GDB doesn't handle the Ctrl + C event of the GUI (non-console) program properly. You can find the workaround in Workaround for GDB Ctrl-C Interrupt. Update: Given that the mingw.org domain expired, here's the code rescued from the Web Archive:
Ctrl + V. When you’re cutting or copying and pasting text, the Paste (Ctrl + V) shortcut keeps the original formatting, like the font and style. If you want to paste text without formatting, use this keyboard shortcut instead: Ctrl + Shift + V. That makes the pasted text take on the format of the text around it.
Ctrl+Shift+V may be used in Microsoft Edge to paste in plain text format in a text field. For example, the command works in the Reply window in this forum. (It may work in other browsers as well.) However, in Word and PowerPoint, Ctrl+Shift+V means to paste formatting that you have copied with Ctrl+Shift+C.
1 answer. If the Ctrl + P command is not functioning on your PC, it could be due to several reasons. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try: Check the keyboard: Ensure that the Ctrl and P keys on your keyboard are functioning correctly. Try pressing other key combinations involving Ctrl, such as Ctrl + C or Ctrl + V, to see if they work.
7. Your screen-shot shows you detected the Ctrl key being released. Not what you're after of course. You can't do it with the KeyUp event, DataGridView already intercepts Ctrl+C for its own use. And does the logical thing, copying the selected cell, column or row to the clipboard. Do make sure it doesn't already do what you need it to do.
Let us try running the troubleshooter. On your search bar, type "Troubleshoot settings". Click on the Additional troubleshooter. Select Keyboard then Run the troubleshooter. Wait for it to finish the process.
